Description

Imagine this: instead of becoming a bounty hunter in Zondai, Roseland took a more traditional life path? In an alternate timeline where she was never disowned by the Mingwei family, her upbringing was actually much different than you may remember. Even if bounty hunting never came about, she still had a strong affinity for literature and reading. So, what if she became a teacher? Yes, in quite the twist from her true self, Roseland ended up becoming a teacher in her hometown of Zondai in her mid twenties. With the house of Mingwei being a rather noble sort, she didn't have much in the way of getting where she wanted. There was wealth, connections, and power behind the name, and while some in her family may have used it for less than pleasant reasons, she turned it into something positive. Ms. Mingwei was well-liked by her young students, as she taught them the ways of reading and writing to lead them to a better future for all. This continued for some years as normal, nothing out of the ordinary ever truly occurring. She wondered if she would ever start a family of her own, as the wonderful and bright students she taught brought her so much joy in her life. Just, "What if?" She would soon get her answer when she met a new face in town.

Outside of reading, teaching, and other standard interests, Roseland also had a fascination with guns and other types of weaponry. She was no bounty hunter, and the Mingwei estate already had nearly impenetrable security, so she realistically would never have any reason to defend herself. Though, that didn't stop her from developing such interests. A weaponsmith had recently opened up shop in the shopping district of Zondai, so she paid it a visit in her time off. Of all the novels Roseland read, one character always stuck out to her as a favorite. Ochiki T'onan, from the famous book "Shrouded In Blood", written by Modicus Voupleiz. T'onan was a brave female lead who decided justice in her own way, and her weapon of choice was a handgun that could fire in rapid succession. 'Twas likely what sparked Roseland's interest in the new weapons shop. She ended up purchasing a set of guns for sport and self-defense, not that they would ever find much use in such a way. The man running the shop was a bit abrasive, but he warmed up over time to Roseland as a regular customer. He was a panther, and between the two was an eight year gap, the man being the older of the two and well into his thirties. The two would inevitably bond over their shared fascination with guns and other types of weaponry, with Roseland even introducing him to the novel that got her interested in the first place. He was a big fan by the time he finished reading it, much to Roseland's vindication that she wasn't alone in her love of that book. Despite the two having busy work schedules and requirements, they still found time to meet in their days off, solidifying their bond even further. Their relationship built up slowly but surely over the next two years before the panther could no longer hold his true feelings back. She noticed that his shop was closed, unusual as it was the busiest time of the day when people were out shopping. Even still, he greeted her at the door and invited her in to discuss something more pressing on his mind. Roseland's poor Heart never stood a chance whenever he asked her a simple question. He'd been thinking it over for months on whether to do it or not, but he couldn't push it back forever. Thus, the once rough panther turned into the finest gentleman upon asking her out to Zondai's romantic park, Diamondwalk Path. It was there that the two shared their first kiss, finally becoming a couple. Roseland felt the same way, alas she didn't see it until now when it was right in front of her. One month later, they moved in together outside of the Mingwei estate. Two more months later, the panther surprised her with an immaculately well-crafted ruby-red ring. He asked her if she would stay at his side forever and love him as much as he loved her. Well, she said yes.

The married pair ended up having three children: one son and two daughters. All three of them would surely bring great pride to the Mingwei name. And yes, as a result of having three children and an abundance of staying-at-home time, Roseland gained a considerable amount of weight. Gone were the days of being a slender, agile leopard. Now, she was curvaceous, enticing, and an absolute treat to look at. But alas, her curves were for no one other than her husband, for a while. Considering Roseland was, and still is, a teacher, she wouldn't let her offspring be anything less than intelligent, well-educated kittens. Her eldest son, Soularie, is a prime example of such a proper upbringing. He was always well-behaved, spoke with professionalism, and never swore a day in his life. Perhaps fitting for such a well-kept persona, he became a soldier in Zondai's army in an effort to fight and protect his friends, family, and home. Ever since his days as a wee cub, he was always close to mother. His older sister often made fun of him for being a mama's boy, but it never deterred him from wanting to make his mother proud of him. She was saddened when he joined the city's army, but it was a commendable act nonetheless. She and her husband had faith in him. After all, he took after his parents well. He was strong and smart like any good leopard. Soularie was often away on training deployments as a result of his recruitment, so his family didn't get the opportunity to see him much anymore. But one day, he'd finally caught a break and was able to come home to his mother's warm embrace. He had been so homesick, not realizing until it was too late just how much he missed being surrounded by everyone he loved. He asked to reconvene with her privately in his quarters to show his mother just how much he missed seeing her. "I never knew you felt this way about me, Soularie. But- ahh, I'm your mother." The two blew hot breaths in each other's direction as they separated their lips. She hadn't seen him in so long, but she never could have expected a welcome home to go like this. He was taught with manners, how to and not to treat a lady, so perhaps he wanted to show his mother what he learned. "Apologies mother, I couldn't refrain myself. You're so amazing...but, I-I can stop, if that is what you wish." Thin strings of saliva hung between their mouths as they both blushed. The feeling of being inside of his mother must have been too powerful of a sensation to resist, but really, who could fault the boy? She was positively sopping with desire, her body betraying what her mind thought to be proper. Roseland, initially taken aback by Soularie's display of affection, slowly became more intrigued to the idea, pleading him not to stop, "No...keep going...and-and, can you kiss me again?" His voice was soft, yet deep so as to not overwhelm her, "With pleasure, mother.~" His father had always bragged about how amazing his wife was to those around him. He was never subtle about it, in truth, so perhaps that rubbed off on his eldest son. In a way, he would be so proud to know that his son, after leaving the house as a mere kitten draped in warrior's clothing, had come back as a man. Home sweet home at last, the son has been reunited with his mother, the most meaningful and important woman in his life.
