Description
Sonic the Screensaver Halloween Remake
13 years ago I drew this remake of the Halloween Sonic the Screensaver artwork. Since then I have stumbled across this piece of art in many corners of the internet. I've seen it used in YouTube videos, I've seen it on forums, blogs, stock art sites (with my signature blacked out lol!), Twitter posts... the old SEGA Community Manager 'ArchAngelUK' even told me some people at SEGA had it as their wallpapers which blew my mind. All that love and... I hate it LOL, I've hated it for probably a decade or more. The fact I had the audacity to sign it as well makes me cringe every time!
I've wanted to create a new version for a long, long time. I actually started this over two years ago and when I didn't finish it in time for Halloween I just dropped it entirely... and then did the same thing the following year lol. Last year I was determined to finish it and I almost did but just missed it by a few days! Rather than wait again I decided to just take my time and perfect it, with a few liberties taken to keep it fresh whilst keeping the feel of the original. Can't wait another 6 months to upload it so enjoy and stay spooky! THIS IS SPOOKY 👻
