Zazel's Mystery Dungeon Misadventures Part 1
By XxrandomguyxX

Zazel was once a human who ended up stuck in the world of Pokemon. Along the way he met a Leafeon named Vera who took him to her Guild to induct him as a member. It wouldn't be too long before the two got close and Zazel made the decision to abandon his humanity and give in to his instincts as a proper Absol would. What a frisky pair of felines~

  • Absolutely love the idea of PMD's human hero "going native" with their partner. Even better when there's a "you can't go back to the human world if you knock up a Pokemon" rule, making this moment all the more significant.

(And a partner who then uses that knowledge to "trap" the hero? Deranged, but hot!)

  • So, hi. I was the commissioner. Can someone add the feline tag since Absol is a feline? Also, their names are Zazel for the Absol and Vera for the Leafeon. There may be more of them in the future. -w-

It's weirdly rare to see feline Absol, they are certainly more cat-like than canid especially when considering the sphinx-like mega, but then again you see an awful lot of canid anatomy on stuff like the Luxray(pretty confident they are cats too) or Mightyena(most likely some sort of hyena) lines too. If there's more to come of these two, I'll look forward to it.

Everyone is just thirsty for knots and lazy, sadly. Still, glad to see people who appreciate their proper anatomies.

Where did "if you reproduce as a pokemon you cannot turn back into a human" even originate? It's such a useful story building tool that can be used to develop things like coming back to the human world with their pokemon spouse and kids in tow and seeing how their family reacts to it.

It definitely didn't come from the games :-]

The basic idea has been around for a long time, however. I remember from my high-school reading of Gilgamesh how Enkidu, a wild man who lived with the beasts of the land, was "tamed" by a sacred prostitute who mated with him (and taught him human language, etc.). After that, animals feared him like any other human. So he had no choice but to live as a (civilized) human from then on.

But I don't think returning to the main-series human world as a Pokemon, especially with your new family tagging along, would be a good idea---unless the goal is deconstructing the whole "capturing sapient creatures in pocket-size balls" thing...

Thanks for the reply. If it were the human world from the games/anime and especialy the manga then yes I would advise not returning unless there is no choice. This has been a topic of interest to me since a friend started sharing exerts from a fanfic they're writing, part of which includes having to return as many former humans as possible from the pokemon MD world to the human one, in this case our real life world (with some small changes), in order to prevent their genocide because someone in the MD world was making real progress in convincing enough people that humans were going to attempt to take over the pokemon world, showing cherry picked examples of some of humanities darkest moments. What few pokemon there already were in the human world were fully sentient/personified and none were "wild", and accorded all the rights and dignities that any human would have, mainly because only a very small number of people were even aware of their existence. I could go on for awhile, but I don't want to bore people. The point was well taken.
