MemberWell, airplanes are sentient so they're piloted all by themselves, but optionally may have copilot. Normally copilot is an AI assistant (like in post #5321545, looks like yellow wisp, so there's no need to "get into" the plane), but recently I saw a post #5303258 with alive copilot so I don't know anymore ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I think you can pretty safely assume that in case of this character (F-16C) there's no copilot inside (at least alive), because this character was created by one of authors of this species (the species itself is aerocats)
