While knowledge of the changeling evolution theory has always been subject to endless speculation, Entry 1 has nevertheless managed to bring a cursory insight into the early days of changeling hybridization experiments despite grossly underestimating the speed at which their race is evolving.
Though the vast majority of victims enslaved by changeling abduction raids are more often than not turned into mindless husks over time, they are but attempts at reaching a far greater outcome which is being successfully achieved at a frighteningly increasing rate. The result is a creature that combines the genetic attributes and independence of the original race with changeling biology and connection to the hivemind, able to simultaneously generate and distribute love to the brood while remaining loyal to a queen.
Their bodies have been similarly modified with both sets of genital organs regardless of gender along with their reproductive capabilities, allowing them to impregnate and be impregnated by just about any race, with further generations effectively used as “sleeper agents”, their hybrid birthright kept dormant until needed. As such, it is necessary to monitor reports of oviparous births and immediately investigate as there is also reason to believe a “slave” connection to the hivemind is formed during gestation, keeping the non-changeling parent passive to the unusual process and highly defensive of outside interference.
Fully developed hybrids are highly deceptive, can replace and impersonate any they wish, have the means to easily infiltrate any population they desire and aren’t affected by the permanent DNA scarring that plagues pure changelings. The species as a whole is no longer desperate to prey on intelligent races, now content to merely feast on a self-sustained and fiercely loyal source that is disturbingly well-equipped to feel pleasure through a multitude of orifices and orgies. In turn, the queens, no longer burdened by the short lifespan of their greatest assets and the basic survival of the hive on a day-to-day basis are now able to plan for long-term conquest and expansion. If this danger isn’t rapidly mitigated, it may pose an existential threat to Equestria.
