"Happy trail" is an informal name for body hair that extends up from the pubic hair vertically through the middle of the lower abdomen, usually reaching around the bottom of the navel. If a character has chest hair, the "happy trail" may connect it to the pubes.

This tag should only be used if...
The body hair extends above the pubic area and reaches up to, or comes close to, the navel.
The hair/fur is distinct in thickness, texture, and/or colour from the character's fur, for a character with a tuft of fur on the lower abdomen use belly tuft

Tagging Notes

For anthro characters who are covered in fur, body hair (including the happy trail), will be of a darker colour than their fur (it may even be assumed to just be darker, thicker fur)

Less commonly, it may be represented as an especially thick patch of fur matching the colour of the surrounding fur (see example 2 above)

Body hair, including the happy trail, may be represented as individually drawn hairs, this is more common for characters without fur (e.g. humans, humanoids, scalies), but may be seen on furries as well (see example 3 above)
