An Abnormality from Project Moon's works (Lobotomy Corporation, Library of Ruina, Limbus Company), having appeared in all three titles.

Der Freischutz (named for, and taking much of his backstory from, the German folktale of the same name , de:"The Free-shooter") is a demonic mercenary, with his backstory involving a deal with the Devil in exchange for seven magical bullets that can never miss their target. Six of these bullets could freely be used as he saw fit, but the seventh would be aimed by the Devil as part of the deal. Rather than accept that the Devil would kill his loved ones, der Freischutz instead used his bullets to kill his family and loved ones, causing the seventh bullet to vanish.

In Lobotomy, he is a HE (middle-of-the-road) Abnormality. While he cannot breach, he must be kept entertained or he will take random, inerrant, potshots at your employees with his rifle. He can also be hired to shoot at specific targets in exchange for some of the energy you have acquired that day. In Library, he does not make a direct appearance, but is indirectly fought as the last phase of the Yesod floor Realisation boss fight. In Limbus, he was added as part of the game's Walpurgis Night seasonal event, with Outis having an Identity and E.G.O. based off of him.
