Wonder of U (ワンダー・オブ・U, Wandā obu Yū), is the stand of Toru, the main antagonist of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 8: JOJOLION.

Wonder of U is a very unique stand, that has the ability to disguise itself as a person. When it initially appears it has disguised itself as the retired medical professional Satoru Akefu, the head director of TG University Hospital in Morioh. It has apparently been able to pull of this ruse with none the wiser for several years. It is sentient and sapient, with a personality completely independent of its Stand Master. It can use this ability to also project false illusions of itself all over the place to obfuscate its true location.

Wonder of U has the appearance of a robotic humanoid with a large torso but incredibly thin appendages. It is typically seen wearing the real Satoru Akefu's clothes, consisting of a suit jacket, dress pants, a cavate, a bowler hat, gloves, dress shoes, and a cane. It has a pair of sun shaped brooches on the coat's abdomen. Its most notable feature is its head which is ovoid in shape with coin like eyes, no mouth, and

Wonder of U is a long-range automatic stand and the embodiment of Calamity. Wonder of U has the ability to manipulate the flow of Calamity. Calamity is an inevitable probabilistic phenomenon within the world of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure that is the scientifically observable and affects all living things. It is basically Murphy's Law: "Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong, at the worst moment, in the worst way" taken to the logical extreme.

When someone begins to pursue Wonder of U, Toru, or Satoru Akefu; Wonder of U's power activates, causing the Flow of Calamity to be redirected towards the enemy that is pursuing it. Various statistically improbably phenomenon will begin to occur to specifically impede the pursuer's progress in reaching Wonder of U. For example: You may try cutting something only to accidentally cut of your hand, random objects will accidentally collide with you such as doors and vehicles, an insect may bite you and infect you with an extremely rare and dangerous disease that rapidly deteriorates your health, rain comes down so hard that it can pierce flesh like bullets or drown the subject.

Additionally, what the stand considers to be "Pursuing" is extremely broad, ranging from physically following the stand, to attacking it, to thinking about attacking it, to simply wondering where or who the stand or the stand user is. Anything beyond actively trying to avoid Wonder of U will resulting in a statistic improbability becoming an inevitable certainty.

Moreover, Wonder of U is the embodiment of Calamity within JoJo's Bizarre Adventure's Universe. Even if the Stand Master is killed and Wonder of U is destroyed, the pursuer may still be the victim of Calamities and the concept of Calamity would continue to live on.

In terms of weaknesses, Wonder of U only has a few. Only one person can be affected be directly affected by the Flow of Calamity at a time. Typically, this is the last person who decided to pursue it. However, the order can change rapidly depending on how close a pursuer is to Wonder of U, multiple calamities can occur in rapid succession, and the pursuer may die moving them up to que to be targeted. Because the Pursuers must continue to pursue Wonder of U in order to be affected by Calamities simply waiting for Wonder of U to come to you may be a viable option. Harmful affects that are not considered attacks in the traditional sense are also useful. Lastly, as a law within the universe of JOJOLION, attacks that are able to travel between dimensions or bypass/negate the negative logic within the universe may reach Wonder of U before a calamity occurs such as D4C: Love Train or Soft & Wet: Go Beyond!.

Wonder of U is named after the Elvis Presley song The Wonder of You and its design is heavily inspired by the works of Rene Magritte, most notably Son of Man and Golcanda. He is supposedly the most powerful stand in the series now.
