Since I waited too long to do a public post, you guys get to see all the character cards dropped together rather than 2  weeks apart! Hooray!

Next up, as we switch over from the goverment IDs to the purely Civilian ones, we're gonna talk about Kabal.

Kabal Edgewright - Kabal works as an informant in for the Warrowwick police department. A cab driver turned limo driver due to a decent windfall, he's gotten an in with some of the mafia networks in Warrowwick, and as such has become a very useful informant for the station. Despite his classy ride, Kabal lives below his means, more so due to species tensions than anything else. He lives with his grandmother, on the poorer side of town, the 'South End'. And while he wants to make things better for the both of them, he's unwilling to lean into criminality for it. Lucius is his primary contact at the station, and so both are somewhat familiar with each other. Lucius, being a hybrid is sympathetic to another more marginalized species. So while not best friends, they are amicable to one another.

Kabal's card has some special modifications on it that differentiate it from your standard Civvie card. Notably the added designation for a Transit ID, and a different verification stamp that's specifically used for those registered as working in transportation. The stamp features the 'Electric Maiden', a magic/electric hybrid engine made in the brief interrim period between coal and nuclear powered trains. It was designed specifically to cross the dreaded 'Red Rock Canyon', a hostile region infested with giant insects that would shred any civilians, as well as most vehicles to blood and shrapnel. Modeled after the Iron Maiden, a heavily armored train built to turn those very insects into a harmless smear, the Electric Maiden was designed with more offensive capabilites in mind. The exposed tesla pistons pumping along as the train runs each contain sliding magnets that are imbued with magical energy to create a near perpetual feedback loop of magical electric charge. The massive groundswell of created electricity not only powers the train, but creates so much residual pulse the stray energy is weaponized to blast bugs right out of the sky and off the shell of the train. In terms of being a massive bug zapper, it's perfect. However, the stray energy will strike other things if you aren't careful, blasting rocks free from canyon walls, and singing trees and other flammable structures at the platforms at either side of the canyon until a properly grounded storage house was built. Not to mention there's a ten minute cool down and power up where you aren't allowed to step on the boarding platform, or disembark. That, coupled with the invention of magically suppressed nuclear fission shortly after the train was debuted left the Electric Maiden as a one of a kind novelty, and it's continued use in Red Rock Canyon has made it a bit of a symbol of Warrowick's ingenuity and power.
