Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.
Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.
Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.

MemberI have seen a lot of people say that this and the other shark images are AI generated but I'm not sure since my hopes and dreams of being an artist were shattered years ago and I don't know any of the terminology people are using to accuse this person so I would appreciate if someone gave me a very dumbed down explanation.

MemberNot sure either, they've posted the process behind some of their artworks, personally i feel it's the same situation that happened with shirokoma, where ai slop has a somewhat similar artstyle or some bellend nabbed their art to train their ai models.
Either way, just like with shirokoma, it's most likely false accusations, and you shouldn't believe them unless factual proof comes out.

MemberNah, dont seem to be. I've used AI quite a bit (for private use) and this seems too good for it to be AI. The circle is perfectly devided and AI struggles with that. Also the hair seems too good to be AI. What im trying to say is, you'd see the errors
