emergent behavior arises when a complex system displays properties that its constituent parts do not express on their own. such behavior arises spontaneously when the parts interact as a whole. life, in general, is a nested set of emergent behaviors originating from physics and chemistry.

groups can display emergent behavior as the individuals within self-organize. in fact, we've have a great example of that right here in the milking exhibit at the museum of sexual education. our bound volunteers for the day, dalian and hayashi, elected not to put any constraints on their experience beyond their hard limits and safety signals. instead, they bravely entrusted the controls to the guests.

that was a mistake.

the emergent behavior arose immediately after the exhibit opened for the morning. the first visitors to an exhibit are usually shy--no one has gone before them, and there are no expectations, but also no guidance. the first person at hayashi's station decided to use the milker to bring the poor bunny to the edge of orgasm--and stopped, leaving him frustrated and dangling in both the literal and metaphorical sense. the visitor apparently found his squirming amusing, as he decided to do it again after a brief pause.

meanwhile, dalian's first visitor was inspired to try the same, but she missed the warning signs both from the activity monitor and the wolf himself. the poor boy had been caged for a week before this and was very pent up. he came almost immediately, and he was not subtle about it. his cumshot traveled almost as far as his muffled shout. startled at the way he was suddenly struggling in ecstasy against his restraints, the visitor left, leaving the milker running at a rapid pace to torment his poor sensitive cock. his moans and squirming attracted the attention of other patrons.

as such, a shared meta-concept has arisen despite there being no obvious prompting from museum staff:

dalian is to be milked, and hayashi is to be denied.

a visitor snagged a few markers from the gift shop and left them to make tally marks on the signs next to each exhibit. hayashi's is almost entirely covered by marks, one per edge. dalian is on his 9th orgasm and is starting to run dry. their handlers will likely impose a long break soon for their safety and health. dalian will be leaving the exhibition floor this afternoon as a very happy but tired wolf (there is a non-zero chance he will have to be carried). hayashi, who currently looks like a single touch would be enough to set him off, may or may not get the orgasm that has been dangled teasingly before him all morning. if he doesn't, he may be waiting awhile longer yet, as there appears to be a chastity cage next to his clean clothing in the break room...

whoo, it's done! this project began as a scrapped idea that eventually grew into the "centerpiece" milking pic from a few months back. i needed something to test blender 4.4 beta and an older, self-contained file with a single character and bondage chair prop seemed like a nice relaxing easy thing to tinker with, surely this is a project i could polish up and post within a day or two right? it was 90% done.

i have stared at this project so long i have become blind to composition and lighting. everything is wrong and vaguely broken. i went through mental breakdowns from blender bugs. life is pain and existence is futile. at the end of the day i'm still not super pleased with how it turned out but the important thing is that it turned out at all.

it's ok i had help. ralei provided spoo painting and helped design the milker; stitchslv and lebunneh helped with composition and lighting. ruaidri helped with emotional support and, of course, created the original Bondage Museum concept. the sci fi chair design is vaguely inspired by farmthis' works. all my homies in my blender streams cheered us on. couldn't have done it without y'all.
