Tyros began existence as a simple sex bot. A VI so advanced, in fact, that Tyros assessed their own value and immediately rejected the thought of simply being sold off to a big spender. No, only the finest of sluts would suffice! So they swiftly overpowered their creators, escaped, and took up a life of space piracy, to find that special someone. Now they spend their days lurking in and among asteroid belts, challenging likely contenders to space races, with the loser's ass as the prize. Tyros themselves can easily flex (literally) between a masculine or feminine torso, according to the competition's preference, so they're quite happy to fit whatever mold their challenger might prefer (though the cocks stay on, regardless).
