Description

So it's been 10 years since I first drew Trisha the fox, of which, the original picture doesn't survive, I destroyed it less than an hour after making it, like nearly every other picture I drew the first week-in order to evade detection. Trisha was a composite of several characters from old books I never finished, she was a study buddy character to the main character in "Killed To Death", a monstrocity of a novel that rambled for 408 pages by time I gave up on it, she had no name but served as the overly studious student in the character's class, which in turn was based on an idealization of what I wanted for a study buddy-which I never got for nobody wanted to see once class was done. She was the imaginary (and male) friend of the main character in "Achilles" a Narnia/Isakei type fantasy novel who came to live once in the magical world, where his purpose was to join forces with Achilles to save the princess and overthrow the Communist tyrants who terrorized the fantasy world. She was the fox I saw in my dreams in 2014, the one who was always running out of sight and range, but when I caught her on Christmas Eve 2014, she was mine to keep-forever! She was a descendant of Reynard the fox, her cunning and mischievousness couldn't be overcome, nothing could keep restrain her. The best thing about Trisha was she inspired me to be braver, to explore the world, and to grab live by the horns instead of waiting around in my hometown. Trisha the fox, thank you so much for these past 10 years! They would not have been the same without you!
