The odds that a polycule would be made up of exactly one person of a specific gender and the rest of the other are pretty good when it's three people, but when it's like, a dozen, things get a little more unlikely.
Unlikely =/= Impossible.
It happens in real-life too, just in extreme rarity. Case & Point,

And as for the Kurt part, if he's even a
hair more sexually liberal than he is in the comics, that dude will do nothing BUT raw dog it:

Also, as others have also already pointed out, we've only got 3 girls to work with at the moment. Seeing how the difficulty will spike towards a "full-set run" as more get added will only be seen with time, but the devs have already strongly implied it's gonna get way harder before it gets any easier - and we already see people fumbling the sampler bag as it is.
I also respect their choice to keep away from the being-cheated-on angle since it'll cause nothing by headache in here. I'm not a fan of that sort of content either, but some people go
WILD if there's even a whiff of the idea around (both for and against it). At the end of the day, the story is still a sort of power fantasy within the setting, so it makes sense that things would lean towards being in Null's favor (at least romantically). I wouldn't mind the slight touch of added realism with a girl or two, but I'm also perfectly happy to not even have to worry about it.
