Daily speed paint/part of the free doodle series~
My bird bud Reven7's character.. a red and black Broadbill~ to try something new.
Took this chance to do something I never tried before..Cel-Shading?
And after doing that, I'm at a crossroads between my original style of painting vs this..it almost cut my work time in half..and it looks..cleaner? I guess...
If you care enough I'd love to read others thoughts on the shading styles..if you'd prefer to see more of above? Or my original ways with the soft shading, which takes longer..but also needs FAR more improving as well compared to Cel-Shading..
TLDR;Cliffs.. speed doodle of a friend, thinking between shading methods, regardless.. enjoy.
Done in 4 hours roughly.
